(Nick) Getting up again, and returning to MacDonalds, Daniel and I checked our mail and eat McBreakfasts.
Things at Land Rover were a little better, and we decided that we should assist as much as possible to get things moving. We wanted to change the bushes on the anti roll bar, to the new ones which we had recieved from Superpro. However, when we got the roll bar off, we found that the bushes we had were for the front only, and were too small. So we put the roll bar back on.

Daniel and I also wanted to fix the CB radio for once and all, having not installed it properly before, and having difficulty picking up traffic on the new ariel. I insisted that the problem would be the earth on the ariel. Our solution was to put electrical tape over the top of the mount, and then secure the antenna base. Testing the quality of earthing with the cars power supply and multimeter.
Once we had obtianed a good earth, I then tuned the ariel with our SWR meter. It was nearly perfect, and we had an absolutely huge 1/4 wave omnidirectional antenna. Testing the radio, we suddenly found we could hear spainish on nearly every channel. The staff at the garage were extremely impressed, as they couldn't get any kind of radio communication down there, due to the 3ft thick concrete roof.
Meanwhile, Daniel negotiated with Land Rover for sponsorship of the service, which was becoming surprisingly expensive, despite the lack of actual work done. He was rejected, but we offered to take some press photos anyway, to give to the Land Rover press department. They may have ended up in a Mexican newspaper, and if anyone has a copy, please let us know!

At the end of the day, desperate not to spend any longer in Mexico City, we hooked up the trailer, and headed out to the East. The sun was already setting, and we would need to drive at night. Time to lock the doors. The traffic was manic, and there was even one guy and his whole family in a truck, bumping their way through traffic. His wing mirror caught our 'unbreakable wolf mirror' and smashed, while ours merely moved out of position. We felt retributed that this man had experienced karma for his dangerous actions.
Once we left the city, we climbed high into the mountains, with a view over the enormous city beneath us. Both exhausted, and at well over 10,000ft, we pulled by the side of the road, where some other lorries had stopped for the night. Not feeling at all secure, we rearranged the back of the wolf with our bags and equipment to form a flat platform for sleeping. We slept with frost around us in the high atmosphere.
