I travelled to Rainham in Essex today to visit Chris and the others at TBR UK, a company dedicated to producing some of the finest and most capable off-road vehicles around.  They have worked on many projects, including the “Long Way Round,” and are keen adventurers also.

I arrived in time to meet a very nice gentleman.  He was there to pick up his own Defender, a Tomb Raider special edition, one that had also come from the stable of Mike Robson.  He had just had fitted some very interesting equipment to the vehicle, which I took pleasure in learning about.

Once we had finished this, it was time to talk about the possible modifications for the Wolf, and to begin planning the end product.  I took the opportunity to get some wheel spacers for testing, as I have an unusual tyre size in mind that will probably require them.  We headed back to London, with a short stop at the Bluewater shopping centre.  Bluewater houses one of the few Kite shops in the country, and gave me the opportunity to pick up some spares for my Kite, another piece of equipment which will be travelling with us!
