Saturday 24th June, Train London to Colchester

(Daniel) I guess that we are now about half way with the preparations for the Expedition.  I have been made a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, and will be able to use the societies resources for the benefit of the team.  These include a huge reference library about Expeditions, and courses and lectures regarding everything from Off-Road driving to bush medicine.

Gabby is really getting into her own, and I am receiving long emails detailing their progress in Norway.  We are in place to organize the carnet now, and I have begun to arrange our network of overseas contacts into some semblance of order!

Wenche and Ole are working hard on the TV deal, while Rowan is probably panicking about getting married in August.  Speaking of which, I am pretty much there with his Stag do, which will take place here in England at the end of July.

The home team are still working away on Sponsors and helping with the vehicle.  I have recently gained another three corporate sponsors, this takes the total to 11, with many more in the pipeline.  The vehicle itself is almost complete, I have just had the twin shock system fitted along with an anti-roll bar to help keep the trailer under control.  Now I will be able to concentrate on publicity, which is all important in a project like this, awareness brings support, which in turn makes our dream a reality.
